MORE THAI FOOD IN PARIS:
Another stormy night in Paris and with the success of the Thai dinner the night before, I chose to try a different Thai restaurant. One of the best things about living in a city is that you can get pretty much what ever you want at any time. This time I chose a restaurant called In Wok, we ate vegetable pad thai, thai green curry, spring rolls and vegetable gyozas. The food was good, but because I had such good Thai food earlier on in the week, I was underwhelmed by this food, although still good it lacked in flavour and texture.
THAI AT HOME:
On a rainy, windy and cold night in Paris, I did not want to venture out of my apartment. I heard from a friend that there was a really good and cheap Thai take away down the road from me in Batignolles. I set of down the road, battling against the wind and rain to find Thai At Home.
The owners were so welcoming and helped me pick from the menu the best dishes as it was in French. I chose to eat vegetable pad thai curry, red thai curry and vegetable spring roles. It was the best thai food I have ever had, I couldnt believe a take away could be so fresh and filled with so much flavour. I am just sad that I don’t live in Paris so I can have it all the time. Bring Thai at home to London please!
